Once upon a time there was a pair of parents that excitedly awaited Halloween for an entire year to be able to celebrate it with their little one. In their excitement they purchased not one, but two costumes for the baby in their lives. It was a glorious weekend.
Friday:
The little prince dressed up as a doggy and was very well behaved at the Carrollton ward Halloween party.
We went home and had to quickly put him to bed before he actually turned into a doggie because he started acting like one. You can view the beginning of his transformation here.
Saturday:
Saturday was a magical day. There were a lot of Halloween activities to choose from in the DC area, but after much deliberation, Mommy and Daddy decided to take the little guy to Glen Echo Park's Fall Frolic. Trick or treating was of course provided for baby's first trick-or-treat.
Elias mysteriously turned into a little dragon just for the occasion.
We were very glad to have discovered Glen Echo. There's a lot going on there! While we were there we saw a glassblowing demonstration where they made a little glass pumpkin. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures.
We also saw a carousel that was almost 90 years old!
Went on a spooky Halloween walk
and there was trick-or-treating, of course!
And then there was Sunday. After church we drove out to my parent's house where excitement awaited. Ryan and I had bought a 32 pound pumpkin and we had plans for it. I knit baby a little green had and *poof!*
He turned into a pumpkin!
And Mommy took loooots of pictures (I won't overload you with those, but there are some really cute ones :))
As baby took a nap, Mama, Papa, Daddy and Mommy carved pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. Then baby became a doggie again.

As the trick-or-treaters arrived we sat baby on the tray with the candy. They were delighted.
